As you are aware, there is an on-going outbreak of coronavirus which has, primarily, affected China. As a result, production in and deliveries from China have been cancelled or significantly reduced.
Dahetra, as well as a significant amount of other companies, is dependent upon international production and shipping for our business. We have, since the outbreak became known, closely monitored the development through our local buying organization and have continuously tried to assess how the outbreak will affect our production and deliveries to customers, distributors and partners. Unfortunately, we are still not able to give any detailed information on how the coronavirus will affect our business operations and deliveries. We have however reached a point where we believe it is likely that our deliveries will be affected.
As a result of the current situation, Dahetra gives notice that it is our opinion that force majeure is at hand and may be invoked in case of late deliveries resulting from the coronavirus outbreak. We are doing our utmost to minimize the effects of the force majeure event, but hope that you understand that there is very little we can do to influence the situation, as well as that we at all times must put the safety of our employees and local partners first.
We will provide further information as soon as we have any news to give. If you have any questions regarding deliveries from Dahetra or how we strive to minimize the effects of the force majeure event, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
